Established in 1968, South Shore Anesthesia Associates, Inc. (SSAAI) provides exemplary anesthesia care to the communities of the South Shore and Southeastern Massachusetts. SSAAI uses an Anesthesia Care Team Model, combining both Board Certified Anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's) for optimal patient care and clinical outcomes.

For more than thirty years SSAAI has worked collaboratively with South Shore Hospital. Currently comprised of twenty-three physicians and twenty-three CRNA's, SSAAI provides 24-hour critical care coverage for South Shore Hospital's three intensive care units as well as providing obstetrical anesthesia - both elective and emergent, and anesthesia for both pediatric and adult surgery.

SSAAI has also established one of Massachusetts' busiest pain management centers, offering comprehensive treatment strategies for all pain conditions.
