Pain Center Physicians

There are four physicians who treat patients at the
South Shore Hospital Pain Center:

Clifford Breslow, MD
Mark Canning, MD
Gordon Juric, MD
James Wechsler, MD

Each SSAA Pain Physician is board-certified in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), in addition to being board-certified in Anesthesiology.

The ABA requires documented training or fellowships in Pain Management before members are allowed to become board-certified. The ABA also requires pain physicians to obtain recertification every ten years.
