Pain Center Practitioner

Our staff includes five physicians and a nurse practitioner who treat patients at the South Shore Hospital Pain Center and the Milton Hospital Pain Center.

Each SSAA Pain Physician is board-certified in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), in addition to being board-certified in Anesthesiology. Our Nurse Practitioner, Judy Kwong, has extensive experience in Pain Management.

The ABA requires documented training or fellowships in Pain Management before members are allowed to become board-certified. The ABA also requires pain physicians to obtain recertification every ten years.
